libgpod-nogtk-dev software package provides development files for libgpod (version without artwork support), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgpod-nogtk-dev
libgpod-nogtk-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgpod-nogtk-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgpod-nogtk-dev *
You will get with libgpod-nogtk-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
